San Diego Solar Power: Hosey Residence
The Hosey Residence wanted to improve the value of their home and save money on rising monthly utility bills. Sullivan Solar Power designed and installed a custom roof-mounted system that works well with the angular roof line. Using a combination of square and triangle shaped modules we created an aesthetic that complements the architecture of the home. This La Jolla solar power installation has the capacity to output over 2,300 watts of energy from the sunlight capture by the 14 solar panels.
A continuous monitoring device sends production data over the internet to ensure the system meets or exceeds the production specifications. The system is expected to eliminate or substantially reduce the electricity bill for decades to come!
On average, each year a solar energy system this size will:
Generate 3,593 to 4,790 kilowatt hours of clean renewable solar power.
Avoid the creation of 5,940 pounds of harmful carbon dioxide released into our air.
Provide the system owner with $1,054 in Solar Power Savings.
